Living up to a reputation which was firmly established over 30 years ago, WABS will transform any piece of rusty old steel ready for any form of industrial coating specification.
Abrasive blasting, more commonly known as Sandblasting, is the process of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface or remove surface contaminants. A pressurised fluid, typically compressed air, or a centrifugal wheel is usedto propel the blasting material. The blasting is able to reach all corners of the surface areas leaving the metal ready for protective coating.
WABS is equipped with three fully sealed large sheds and a dedicated steel grit room with rail tracks running through. The sheds utilise a dust extraction system with media recycling to allow for blasting all-year round regardless of the weather. Alongside our onsite equipment we also have a truck mounted mobile blasting unit which allows us to complete any sized job anywhere in Australia.
WABS has a wide range of abrasive blast options including; Garnet, Steel Grit & Shot, Single-use and Recycle Media, Aluminium, Oxide and Bi-Card Soda.
